Business History:      

Ryan’s career began as a Project Site Designer for an engineering firm in Charlotte, NC.  Responsibilities included design, project management, staff management and direct client relationships. At this position, Ryan developed a thorough knowledge of consultant coordination, value engineering, project scheduling, and construction administration in various types of real estate development projects such as commercial, office, retail, educational, and urban design. 

Ryan started working at Collett & Associates in 2006 to utilize his 10 years experience in civil engineering, site planning, master planning, land use evaluation, zoning, re-zoning, permitting, wetland mitigation and construction administration.  Since joining Collett, Ryan has managed multiple new development projects from concept through design, budgeting, permitting, subcontractor bidding, and construction administration.  Ryan has worked with national tenants such as Target, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Best Buy, PetSmart, Marshall’s, Office Max, REI, and Old Navy.  Most recently, Ryan has taken responsibility for managing 1,724,893 square feet of Shopping Centers in the Southeast.
